“Wow! What a beautiful resort. Gorgeous grounds with a variety of flowers and plants. We had 3 beautiful spacious villas with all the amenities. Comfortable beds and bathrooms with all the amenities. The dining room offered delicious buffets with a variety of foods and a pasta and omelette station managed by Onesto. Judith the dining room manager always greeted us and asked us if there was anything we needed. Truly a beautiful resort in paradise. Wish we had more than one night here. When you book, add on extra nights! ”

“We stayed for 2 nights in December. Swift check in, very spacious and clean rooms, solar powered hot water showers. Definitely family friendly - my 3 and 8 y/o felt very comfortable and looked after. The food was incredibly tasty and catered for all our various needs. A great selection of desert and starters which was commendable. Great wifi all around the property, and lots to explore around the property. Kids kept busy with life size blocks and table tennis. There was pool, carrom and life size chess and jenga for families too. All this kept the kids and us soo busy, we may have lacked time here! The swimming pool was a delight too. Take some time to walk around the property - the landscaping deserves an applause, and the thoughtful signs placed all over are such a treat to read and reflect on. Overall great stay, perfect for families and kids. We would 100% come back to this property and comes highly recomended.”

“The place is like a paradise, with a beautiful garden and a cozy atmosphere. Thanks to the staff, especially Judith, for taking such good care of us and making sure we were comfortable in the restaurant. The rest of the team also did an excellent job. The hotel arranged our pickup, drop-off, and safaris perfectly. Our driver, Simon, was great, and housekeeping did a wonderful job as well. Thank you for everything!”

It is well situated between all of the top attractions, the staff is very professional, the rooms are lovely and come with hot water. The food is great and the grounds are beautifully landscaped. It also has a great gym. Highly recommend you stay here!”

“The Retreat at Ngorongoro is a beautiful place to stay. We were welcomed on arrival, offered a hot towel, drinks and a briefing before being quickly shown to our cottage. The cottage was very modern, clean and luxury throughout- lovely big bathroom with a double shower. The cottage was very comfortable and we slept extremely well. The dining experience was wonderful too- there were so many food options and the food was extremely tasty. Sarah, our waitress ensured that we were well looked after and our table was set up beautifully and decorated for our honeymoon. The outside and surrounding areas are beautiful and well maintained with lots of plants being grown. We did not have chance to use the pool, however, the pool area looked stunning. We would highly recommend staying here before or after safari- a real treat! We wish we could have stayed for longer than one night. Asante sana.”
